RED SEA - NO3:PO4-X - 1000ml

NO ₃ :PO ₄ -X is an exceptional complex of carbons used by bacteria which reduce nutrients. Each carbon of this complex is used by a different strain of microorganisms while guaranteeing the specific carbon/nitrogen ratio required for each step.

The complex includes other organic bound elements which are important stimulators of each stage of the reduction process. These metals and non-metals ensure stable propagation of bacteria, complete reduction of nitrates to nitrogen gas, and absorption and utilization of phosphates by bacteria.

The fine control of nitrate and phosphate levels, enabled by the management of the NO ₃ :PO ₄ -X dosage, guarantees gradual changes and precise maintenance of the level of nutrients, avoiding the destruction of the zooxanthellae population which could cause UV shock and starve the corals.

Unlike other low nutrient diets, correct use of NO ₃ :PO ₄ -X allows the maintenance of all the micro fauna beneficial to the reef. NO ₃ :PO ₄ -X is also recommended as a complete carbon source for the use of carbon-based denitrators.
