ELIMI-NP 50ml is particularly suitable for all saltwater aquariums with a high concentration of phosphates and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio, as is often the case in reef aquariums equipped with a limestone reactor.
Liquid carbon concentrate for nutrient breakdown
Nutrient ratios for reef aquarium invertebrates (corals, sponges and others) are ideal, when nitrates and phosphates are present in the lowest possible concentrations. Tropic Marin ® ELIMI-NP is concentrated organic carbon for an effective and gentle reduction of nitrate and phosphate levels in the reef aquarium thanks to the transformation of this compound into additional biomass.
ELIMI-NP is particularly suitable for all saltwater aquariums with a high phosphate concentration and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio, as is often the case in reef aquariums equipped with a limestone reactor.
• | effective reduction of nitrate and phosphate content in the reef aquarium |
• | specially adapted either to reef aquariums equipped with a coral limestone reactor; but also to all aquariums with an excess of phosphate and a low nitrate-phosphate ratio |
• | suitable for stocking with saltwater fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS, other filter feeders and/or crustaceans |
• | simple dosing thanks to the liquid state of the solution |
Use of the 50 ml bottle: Place the tube provided on the syringe and measure with the syringe the desired quantity of ELIMI-NP. The air that enters the tube and the syringe at the time of aspiration does not influence the dosage. The end of the plunger always indicates the correct dosage, even if, due to the air drawn in, the desired amount of ELIMI-NP is only in the tube and not in the syringe barrel. The sucked air is used to empty the hose during dosing.
Using the 200ml bottle: Turn the pump head to the left until it pops out. One pressure on the pump head corresponds to 1 ml.
Dosage: Start with a daily dosage of 0.1 ml per 100 l of aquarium water and increase the dosage every 2 weeks by observing the animals and monitoring the nutrient concentrations by 0.1 ml per 100 l of aquarium water. Introduce ELIMI-NP at the level of the mixing of the pump so that it can be immediately distributed in the aquarium.
Maximum dosage: A daily dosage of 0.5 ml per 100 l of aquarium water should not be exceeded. The phosphate concentration should only be reduced slowly to avoid possible stress related to the adaptation of the organisms. At the same time the nitrate-phosphate ratio 10:1 should not be exceeded.
Use the new dosage calculator for easy determination of the necessary amount of dosage for your aquarium.
In the case of a nitrate-phosphate ratio greater than 10:1 we recommend the use of Tropic Marin ® NP-BACTO-BALANCE instead of ELIMI-NP, to optimally adjust the nutrient concentrations.
