Unlike sewn seams, welded seams are not subject to degradation resulting from exposure to bleach, caustics, acids, or any other harsh environmental exposure that may occur during filter media regeneration.
Care should be taken, however, not to overfill or overpack, as welded joints can be forced apart by excessive tensile forces.
