Clear and healthy water

Poor lighting conditions, excess fertilizer or nutrients can negatively affect aquarium water and promote algae growth. Floating algae cause green turbidity, bacteria whitish turbidity. The JBL water sterilizer eliminates turbidity caused by bacteria and floating algae. The aquarium water is led through the UV-resistant sterilizer housing. UV-C radiation kills bacteria and other pathogenic germs as well as floating algae in the flowing water. The performance of this UV-C sterilizer is very high because the glass envelope is surrounded by a polished stainless steel reflective film which reflects UV-C rays and therefore doubles its efficiency. It can also have this positive effect for the elimination of fixed algae, for example thread algae, since their spores are also largely destroyed.

No harmful side effects

No change in water parameters, no negative impact on important cleaning bacteria in the filter.

Easy setup

Connect the water sterilizer to the external filter or an external water pump. Can be installed in any position with the supplied 90° elbow.

Safety assured

The JBL UV-C water sterilizer has undergone a technical inspection (TÜV) and has a safety switch that automatically disconnects the device as soon as it is opened. The housing is UV-resistant, its walls robust and it is equipped with an LED indicator light indicating whether the UV-C lamp is working.
