What is special about this salt?

After collecting various water samples from natural coral reefs in Egypt, Kenya, Indonesia and Fiji, chemists and biologists analyze the PIC results from these established coral habitats and are most challenging. How to dose Aquaforest salt?

• For best use, Hybrid Pro Salt should be dissolved in RODI water at 24-25°C and 33 ppt salinity.
• Dissolve 390 grams of salt in 10 liters of RODI water.
• Mix for about 15 minutes. Once completely dissolved, the salt water is ready for immediate use.
• Dissolved salt should be used within 3 days.
• Evaporation changes the parameters of the water, so be sure to cover the prepared salt water well.
• If you keep it for several days, check its salt content before using it.
• Avoid humidity and store salt in a dark, dry place

Our recommendations :

• It is recommended to maintain the dKH between 7.5 and 8.5 to support the growth of probiotic bacteria. Higher or lower concentrations may reduce bacterial activity.
• When setting up a new aquarium, we recommend introducing the first fish/coral no earlier than 10-14 days after setting up the aquarium and stabilizing the water parameters.
