Tonga Pearls 10 kg from Aqua Medic consists of a completely new and unique limestone material that has been manufactured under strictly controlled conditions. Its composition and crystal structure correspond to natural coral sand. Due to its texture and its very white appearance, Tonga Pearls lend themselves excellently as a substrate in saltwater aquariums.

Tonga Pearls are also optimal for invertebrates such as sea anemones, cylindrical roses, tube worms as well as wrasses as the animals can burrow easily. This substrate is also chewed by gobies. Tonga Pearls correspond in their crystalline structure to the calcareous skeleton of corals and thus form the basis of a perfectly functioning sea aquarium. Tonga Pearls are not a fossil material. They are not from rock cutting, nor extracted from the sea, so they preserve natural resources and are free of impurities.
