The bacteria contained in this biofilm are in their natural state.

Indeed, the bacteria present in Ocean® Bio-Activ Live® living sand are those resulting from millions of years of evolution. All bacteria on Ocean® Bio-Activ Live® Aragonite are preserved in their natural state using a patented process and patented QX-23® salt water enrichment solution.
