The Crikey Riverbed Biotope is a 100% natural and non-toxic substrate. It does not alter water hardness or release any unwanted substances. Pre-washed, it is ready to use without prior rinsing, although a surface run with a net after installation may be useful to remove any floating particles.

  • Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the aquarium.
  • Do not rinse , as it is pre-washed for immediate use.
  • Use a net to remove floating particles after adding water.
