WIO - Centurion Wood

A perfect refuge for your fish

Beyond its visual appeal, this root plays an essential role in the well-being of your aquatic residents. Thanks to its multiple nooks and cavities, it provides ideal hiding places for shy fish and shrimp. It thus promotes a serene environment and reduces stress for aquarium inhabitants.

An essential preparation for clear water

Like any natural root, Centurion Wood releases tannins into the water during the first few weeks, which can slightly color the water amber. This phenomenon, although natural and harmless, can be limited by soaking the root for 3 to 4 weeks before introducing it into the aquarium. To speed up the process, it is also possible to boil the wood for a few hours to reduce the release of tannins.
