1. Particularities of the Brighty

K Brighty K is a liquid fertilizer providing potassium for a planted aquarium. When potassium is in short supply, the activity of photosynthesis and the growth of aquatic plants are affected, and this can cause yellowing and whitening of the leaves as well as a lower resistance to algae. Adding Brighty K daily reduces these problems and promotes healthy growth of aquatic plants. Brighty K also has the effect of strengthening the buffering capacity of water and prevents pH drops.

2. Use

For potassium addition, apply daily a pressure (=1ml) of Brighty K for each slice of 20l of water. It is advisable to add GREEN Brighty K when the lighting is on. If there is a large amount of aquatic plants in the aquarium, increase the additions to approximately 2-3 times the Standard dose.

3. Precautions

Nutrients other than potassium are also necessary for the healthy growth of aquatic plants. Use GREEN BRIGHTY MINERAL for the addition of trace element, GREEN BRIGHTY IRON for the addition of iron and GREEN BRIGHTY NITROGEN for the addition of nitrogen.

Do not mix with other liquid fertilizers.

Brighty K is strongly alkaline. The pH of aquarium water may increase temporarily and immediately after adding the product, but it will eventually return to its original level. Adding too much Brighty K can have a negative impact on shrimp such as Cardina japonica and can lead to death of the animal in the worst case. As you increase the amount of Brighty K, watch your shrimp closely during and after the additions. If an abnormal reaction is observed, perform a water change immediately.

In case of contact with skin, wash off immediately with tap water.

Store in a cool, dark place, avoid high temperatures.
