THE MAXIMUM POWER OF PHOSPHATE AND NITRATE
  • Highly active substances with immediate effect
  • Specially designed for aquariums with low fish populations and significant plant growth
  • For fast, strong and healthy growth

The supplement of N = nitrogen (nitrate) and P = phosphorus (phosphate) is not necessary in normal aquariums, since these components usually arrive sufficiently.

For Aquascaping aquariums, the situation is different. They need a high intake of nutrients, in particular because of the following reasons:

  • Dense planting
  • Lots of fast-growing plant species
  • Lots of light (> 1 watt per liter of aquarium water)
  • CO 2 fertilizer
  • 30-50% partial water change per week
  • no or little fish (but rather shrimp or snails.)

NPK fertilizer provides nitrate, phosphate and potassium in a biologically weighed way, i.e. :
The nutrients of the NPK fertilizer, but above all the three main components, have been perfectly dosed so that they can be assimilated equally by the plants. This means that during regular and long-term use, there can be no deficiencies due to non-equivalent proportions of substances.

After changing the water, add NPK fertilizer to a location in the aquarium with good water mixing. Screw the closing lid back on after use (do not rinse with aquarium water).

We recommend regularly checking the nitrate and/or phosphate levels in aquarium water (tests available in specialized stores).
