Effective against a wide range of parasites

Colombo Cerpofor Alparex is known for its ability to combat a variety of external parasites that harm fish health. Whether it is Ichtyobodo, Chilodinella or Trichodina, this treatment acts in a targeted manner to eradicate invisible threats. In addition, it takes care of the white spot disease, often feared by aquarists, and effectively eliminates fungi, ensuring a healthy habitat.

Long-lasting protection for a healthy aquarium

Treatment with Alparex is not limited to the elimination of parasites. By using it regularly, you can prevent future infestations and maintain a safe environment for your fish. This helps prevent recurrences and protects the aquarium from any new parasite invasion. Your fish thus benefit from clean water free of pathogens.

Easy to use and practical formula

Thanks to its liquid formulation, Colombo Cerpofor Alparex is extremely easy to dose and integrate into the aquarium water. The product disperses quickly, ensuring immediate effectiveness without any particular effort on the part of the user. The application process is intuitive, even for novice aquarists, and makes aquarium maintenance easier.

Guaranteed safety for your fish

One of the major advantages of Alparex is its safety for fish when used correctly. Its composition respects the natural balance of the aquarium while fighting against parasites. Thus, your fish do not suffer any discomfort or adverse effects during the treatment, allowing you to preserve a harmonious habitat while eradicating parasites.

Information on diseases treated:

White spot disease is caused by Ichthyophthirius multifillis. This disease is more likely to affect weakened fish, e.g. due to overpopulation, after transport, after adding fish, etc. Affected fish have white spots of 0.1 to 1 mm spread or grouped on the skin. The fish rub against plants or stones and sometimes move around in the water with their fins closed. After losing a large amount of skin or after direct damage to the gills, the fish suffocates and dies.

As for fungi, a kind of fluffy balls appear on the skin or gills of fish. They are almost always caused by representatives of the Saprolegnia species. The fungus spreads on the skin but can also penetrate muscle tissue and organs, which ultimately leads to death. The itchy skin can be caused by various parasites: for example, trichodina, ichthyobodo and chilodonella, as well as the skin worm (gyrodactylus) and the gill worm (dactylogyrus) with a size of about 0.3-0.5 mm. While the fish's mucus is the most considerable obstacle for pathogens, the attack of a single parasite opens the doors to others.

Instructions for use

Water Quality: Remember that water quality is essential for both the optimal effectiveness of medications and the rapid recovery of sick fish. This is why it is important to always test your water before and after treatment and correct the values if necessary.

Recommended dosage: 1 ml for 5 liters of aquarium water. Use the measuring cup supplied with the product to measure the required quantity – first dissolve it in 1 ltr of aquarium water – and spread it on the water. Start the air pump. If this treatment is not sufficient, it can be repeated: if necessary, half a dose on the third day and on the fifth day if necessary.

Do not filter with carbon or zeolite; UV lamps and equipment must be disconnected for up to 48 hours after treatment administration. During treatment, do not change the water, otherwise dose 1 ml per 5 liters of tap water.

You can leave the filter running during treatment. One week after the last treatment, you can perform weekly water changes (10-20%).
