CUPRAMINE™ is effective in the eradication of ectoparasites from freshwater and saltwater fish.

Learn more

It has all the benefits of copper sulphate and chelated copper but none of the drawbacks. COMMON ADVANTAGES: effective at low concentration due to its totally ionic form, low risk for fish and does not precipitate in the filter. UNIQUE SUPERIORITIES: there is a difference of 1 to 4 between the minimal therapeutic dose (0.2 mg/L) and the toxic dose (0.8 mg/L), it is stable in the aquarium, it is eliminated easily by chemical filtration, it is very efficient and safe in both fresh and salt water and does not damage the biological filter. 100 ml treats 2,000 liters of water. Test for copper with our MultiTest Copper™.

DIRECTIONS: Remove all invertebrates. Turn off the UV sterilizer; remove the chemical filtration. Use 20 drops (1 mL) for 40 L on day 1, wait 48 hours, then repeat. Only use half a dose in fresh water. The final copper concentration is 0.5 mg/L (0.25 mg/L in fresh water). Leave to concentrate for 14 days. Do not redose without carrying out a test (with MultiTest®: Copper). Do not use this product in conjunction with any other medication. If the tank has already been treated with a type of ionic copper (for example, copper chloride, sulfate, or citrate), check the copper level after the initial dosing. Although most fish tolerate Cupramine™ up to 0.8 mg/L, it is recommended not to exceed 0.6 mg/L of copper. Remove copper with carbon, or with CupriSorb™.
