Hanna Instruments ' HI770 Silica Checker Mini Photometer is specially designed to quickly and accurately determine the silica content of water in values from 0 to 200ppm . With a digital readout, you won't have to struggle to determine colors visually.
This device is not suitable for the analysis of sea water, the silica content being less than 1ppm.
Reagents for Checker Phosphate HI7134, 25 tests.
Ref: HI7134 -25
The HANNA® Wide Range Silica Photometer is positioned between simple chemical test kits and advanced professional instruments. Unlike chemical kits, which rely on visual observation to assess color changes, offering limited accuracy and resolution, professional instruments use light sources such as LED or tungsten lamps combined with a filter and light detector to accurately measure ion concentrations. While these professional instruments are highly accurate, their cost can be several hundred dollars. The HANNA® Wide Range Silica Photometer incorporates a silicon photoelectric detector and a fixed wavelength, combining the accuracy of a professional instrument with an affordable cost comparable to a chemical test kit.
HI7134 comes with 2 measuring cuvettes and their cap, reagents for 6 tests and the battery.
