Near-silent operation

The Aeraqua Duo skimmer is equipped with the Maxspect Turbine Duo pump with two inlets and two outlets. As this pump uses sine wave technology, it makes the operation of the Aeraqua Duo skimmer almost silent.

Two water inlets

The Aeraqua Duo has two water inlets which allow the skimmer to suck in water from both sides. When one of the inlets is completely closed, the skimmer also draws water from inside, which improves water filtration for the aquarium.

Double needle wheels

Each water inlet has two needle wheels, one rotates while the other is static. This unique patented design results in tiny, higher density bubbles that greatly improve skimming efficiency.

Everything is integrated

The elegance and refinement of the Aeraqua Duo has been achieved through several ingenious ideas such as concealing the air silencer in the base plate of the skimmer, integrating the air pipes and the adjustment wheel from the water level to the body of the skimmer. This last feature makes it easy and precise to adjust the water level in the skimmer.

The Aeraqua Duo skimmer can be controlled by smartphone and tablet via the SYNA-G app for iOS or Android. For this the ICV6 interface sold separately is necessary.

Overflow sensor

The Aeraqua Duo is equipped with an overflow sensor capable of detecting the water level in the skimming cup and sending a warning signal when necessary.

Fast closings and openings

Water inlets

The unique design of the Aeraqua Duo allows you to choose depending on the animal population in the aquarium, how the water should be drawn into the skimmer by rotating the water inlets.

For an aquarium of around 400 to 750L , with a large population of animals, it is recommended to open one water inlet by 80% and completely close the other inlet in order to recirculate the water in the tank. skimmer.

For an aquarium of approximately 750 to 1250L , with an average population of animals, it is recommended to fully open one water inlet and to open the other inlet 30% to 50% in order to pump and recirculate the water in the skimmer at the same time.

For an aquarium of approximately 1250 to 1700L , with a low population, it is recommended to fully open both water inlets.
