Neptune Systems - Trident: Automated Water Analysis

The Neptune Systems Trident is a revolutionary automated testing system designed to accurately monitor alkalinity, calcium and magnesium levels in marine aquariums. It performs accurate tests up to 24 times per day and communicates this information to your Apex controller, allowing you to adjust dosage in real time. No more tedious manual testing! Easy to install and ultra reliable, it guarantees optimal stability for the health of your reef. Its quiet operation and low water consumption make it an ideal ally for any aquarist concerned about the quality of their marine ecosystem.

  • Continuous monitoring : Tests alkalinity, calcium and magnesium automatically.
  • Ultra accurate : Accuracy of +/- 0.05 dKh for alkalinity and 15 ppm for calcium/magnesium.
  • Quick Setup : Simple setup in less than 10 minutes.

Complete control of your aquarium chemistry

The Trident revolutionizes water parameter management by fully automating the analysis process. No more guesswork in manual testing, this device guarantees surgical precision and unmatched consistency in monitoring essential mineral levels. A stable reef allows for optimal coral growth, which benefits from a perfectly balanced environment.

Super easy installation: ready in minutes

Unlike other complex systems that require careful adjustments, the Trident is designed for ultra-fast installation. Simply plug in a cable, connect two hoses , and follow the step-by-step instructions on the Apex Fusion app. In less than 10 minutes, your system is up and running and begins performing accurate water analyses. No complicated calibration is required, making it accessible even to novice aquarists.

Minimal impact on salinity

Many test systems draw a large amount of water, which can lead to salinity fluctuations, a critical issue for reef aquariums. The Trident uses only 7.9 ml of water per parameter tested , a tiny amount that has almost no impact on tank stability. In addition, the tested water is systematically drained to an external container, thus avoiding any risk of contamination.

Instant alerts and automatic dosage adjustment

In addition to continuously measuring water quality, Trident sends instant alerts as soon as a parameter goes out of the optimal range defined by the user. This allows for rapid intervention before imbalances become critical. But that's not all: coupled with the Neptune DOS dosing system (sold separately), Trident automatically adjusts dosages according to the actual needs of the aquarium. You no longer have to worry about constant adjustments, your aquarium remains stable without effort.

Cutting-edge technology for unmatched precision

Thanks to its advanced titration technology , the Trident guarantees measurements with exceptional precision . Alkalinity tests are performed with an accuracy of +/- 0.05 dKh, while calcium and magnesium levels are measured with an accuracy of +/- 15 ppm. This performance far surpasses that of conventional manual tests, even those performed with high-end kits.

Reduced costs thanks to economical reagents

Another strength of the Trident is the optimization of operating costs. The reagents are available in 2 or 6 month packs, which allows for economical and hassle-free management. Each pack provides autonomy of approximately 240 alkalinity tests and 120 tests for calcium and magnesium , thus ensuring continuous monitoring with minimal maintenance.

Quiet operation

One of the major drawbacks of automated testing systems is often noise. The Trident, on the other hand, has been designed to be particularly quiet . When placed in a closed cabinet or near other aquarium equipment, it becomes virtually inaudible. Only a slight noise can be heard if one listens carefully in a very quiet room.
