AQUAFOREST - AF bio Sand - 7.5 kg - White sand

Natural white sand obtained from very high quality substrate. It is free of any contaminants. Thanks to its calcium carbonate content, it stabilizes the physico-chemical parameters of aquarium water. Due to its composition, the application of AF Bio Sand considerably accelerates the maturation process of the aquarium and allows faster colonization. The vials included in the kit contain strains of nitrifying bacteria isolated in the laboratory and a medium facilitating their development and multiplication. The special formula of the kit guarantees the establishment of the nitrogen cycle and the elimination of harmful chemical compounds from the water much faster than in the case of traditional substrates. The extremely simple AF Bio Sand operation allows you to quickly prepare sand for use in the aquarium. The grain size of the sand is between 0.5 and 1.5 mm.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Sand residues appear during transport and are perfectly harmless for your aquarium. However, in order to avoid any turbidity in the water, we advise you to rinse it with reverse osmosis water before using it.
• Pour the contents of the two bottles into 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, mix well, add to the sandbag and leave to act for 24 hours.
• To allow bacteria to multiply, do not close the bag.

We do not recommend storage in cool places, as this can significantly increase bacterial multiplication time. The optimum temperature for maturing sand is around 25-28°C. After 24 hours, the prepared sand is ready for use in the aquarium. Keep away from children. Product for the aquarium only. Not suitable for human consumption.
