AQUAFOREST - AF bio Sand 0.5 - 1.5mm - 7.5 kg - White sand

Natural white sand obtained from very high quality substrate. It is free of any contaminants. Thanks to its calcium carbonate content, it stabilizes the physicochemical parameters of the aquarium water. Due to its composition, the application of AF Bio Sand significantly accelerates the maturation process of the aquarium and allows faster colonization. The vials included in the kit contain strains of nitrifying bacteria isolated in the laboratory and a medium that facilitates their development and multiplication. The special formula of the kit guarantees the establishment of the nitrogen cycle and the elimination of harmful chemical compounds from the water much faster than in the case of traditional substrates. The extremely simple operation AF Bio Sand allows you to quickly prepare sand for use in the aquarium. The grain size of the sand is between 0.5 and 1.5 mm.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Sand residues appear during transport and are perfectly harmless for your aquarium. However, in order to avoid any water turbidity, we advise you to rinse it with osmosis water before using it.
• Pour the contents of the two bottles into 3 liters of osmosis water, mix well, add to the sandbag and leave to act for 24 hours.
• To allow bacteria to multiply, do not close the bag.

We do not recommend storage in cool places, as this can significantly increase the bacterial multiplication time. The optimum temperature for sand maturation is about 25-28°C. After 24 hours, the sand thus prepared is ready for use in the aquarium. Keep away from children. Product for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption.
