Liquid pH buffer and carbonate hardness generating product
To ensure good coral growth, saltwater aquariums need an optimal buffering action with a stable carbonate hardness between 7 and 9 °dH. Furthermore, variations in pH, e.g. ex. in case of acidification due to secretions and decomposition processes, quickly expose the entire population of the aquarium to stress, causing disease and thus reducing the longevity of the inhabitants. Tropic Marin ® LIQUID BUFFER effectively increases the carbonate hardness and stabilizes the pH in an optimal range between 8.1 and 8.4.

Manual :
Regularly check the carbonate hardness and pH of the aquarium water using the Tropic Marin ® . In a saltwater aquarium, the carbonate hardness should be between 6 and 9 °dH, the pH should be between 8.1 and 8.4.
In the event of significant deviations from these values (pH below 7.7 or above 8.6 / carbonate hardness below 5 °dH), dose 30 ml of LIQUID BUFFER per 100 l of aquarium water, which brings about 0.8 °dH. Repeat the application daily if necessary. In this context, however, it is important not to exceed a carbonate hardness of 9 °dH.
1000 ml of LIQUID BUFFER contains 2800° of carbonate hardness.
