Carbonate Hardness + pH Buffer

In the marine aquarium, the stability of the pH value is essential. Carbonat Pro instant increases the carbonate hardness and is a pH buffer, to stabilize the PH value in the marine aquarium between 8.0 and 8.3 and replace the carbonate hardness, which has been lost in precipitate and consumed by biological metabolisms. CarbonatPro Instant protects against dangerous variations in the pH value. In the reef aquarium, the optimal value is around 10°kH.
Carbonat pro instant increases carbonate hardness and is a pH buffer for an easy and quick increase in carbonate hardness.
It can be used to prepare a stock solution or directly added to the aquarium.

Mixing a basic balling solution

Add 84g of Carbonat pro instant in a container with 1000ml of reverse osmosis water.
The Balling solutions of Carbonat-, Calcium-, Magnesium and Mineral pro instant must be dosed in equal parts and separately from each other!

Preparation of stock solution

Add 168 g of Carbonat pro instant in a container with 2000ml of reverse osmosis water.
By adding 36 ml of stock solution, the carbonate hardness increases by approximately 1°dKH per 100 liters of aquarium water.

Direct dosing

In case of significant deficiencies, the amount will need to be increased over a period of several days. Pour directly into the lauter tun, in a well-agitated area.
