The RIO 450 LED aquarium can accommodate both large fish and demanding marine inhabitants. The safety lower frame guarantees particularly safe stability and allows the aquarium to be easily installed without having to use special supports.
Careful manufacturing in Germany, high-quality materials and perfectly matched technology guarantee maximum quality and safety and thus the longevity of the RIO 450 LED aquarium.

MultiLux LED / Light

Brilliant illumination and magnificent plant growth: that's what MultiLux, the modern LED lighting technology from JUWEL, offers. The interchangeable DAY and NATURE 31 watt LED tubes create an optimal light spectrum while allowing energy savings of up to 50% compared to the T5 model.

The MultiLux LED lighting system of the RIO 450 LED allows comfortable working in the aquarium even with the lighting switched on.
The ultrasonically welded light unit is 100% waterproof and meets high European safety standards.


The effectiveness has been proven millions of times: Bioflow XL / Filter network

To ensure optimum filtration, the RIO 450 LED aquarium is equipped with a powerful Bioflow XL filter. This internal filter combining efficiency and safety is the centerpiece of a JUWEL aquarium. Based on the principle that "The water stays in the aquarium!" it is the safest way to filter aquarium water. The Bioflow XL filter features five high-performance filter materials and a powerful and quiet Eccoflow 1000 circulation pump.

AquaHeat 300W / Heater

The JUWEL 300 watt regulator heater, optimally integrated into the water circuit of the Bioflow L filter system, ensures that the RIO 350 LED filter is always at the right temperature.
Thanks to the use of high-quality silver-plated contacts and impact-resistant borosilicate glass, the JUWEL regulator heater meets the highest expectations in terms of function and safety; it naturally has a TÜV/GS certificate.
