Elimination of the mycodermal veil

Lack of water changes and excess food can lead to the formation of a biofilm (mycodermal veil) on the surface of aquarium water, since a normal external filter suction rod does not include not the surface of the water in the filter circuit. The mycodermic veil is a whitish layer made up of bacteria and fungi. It prevents maximum enrichment of the water with oxygen.

Suction of upper and lower layers of water The JBL surface aspirator effectively prevents or eliminates the formation of a mycodermal veil. The suction of water from deep layers makes it possible to use the vacuum cleaner instead of the suction rod used so far. The comb automatically adapts to the changing level of the water surface (eg in case of evaporated water).

Simple installation

Connect the JBL surface vacuum cleaner to the external filter (instead of the old suction rod). Fix the suction chamber using suction cups in the corner of the bottom of the aquarium. Select the suction ratio between the surface water and the bottom water of the aquarium using the adjustment rod.

Elegant shape

The adjustment rod can be removed from the device. The JBL surface vacuum cleaner has an elegant semi-cylindrical shape and is compatible with flexible hoses from 9/12 to 16/22mm in diameter.
