JUWEL - Bioflow Super - Filter for aquariums up to 150l

The JUWEL Bioflow filter system is distinguished by its particularly high filter volume. It is spacious enough to ensure excellent mechanical, chemical and biological filtration and makes it possible to extend the efficiency of the filter over time and to extend the maintenance intervals. The structure of the filter gives you easy access to the pump and heater, and the use of special filter baskets allows the filter materials to be easily evacuated for cleaning.

JUWEL Bioflow filters are equipped with a highly efficient and quiet Eccoflow circulation pump, the power of which has been adapted to the size of the filter system according to scientific criteria. Bioflow filters are also prepared to accommodate JUWEL heaters, which are thus optimally integrated into the water circuit and ensure even heat distribution in all areas of your aquarium.

Each Bioflow Filter System is equipped with five high quality filter materials:

1. The filter wadding absorbs large suspended impurities in the water and thus serves as the first mechanical filter.

2. Activated carbon absorbs olfactory materials and turbidity agents as well as toxic combinations and guarantees crystal clear water. It thus serves as a chemical filter.

Optional: 3. The excellent absorption capacity of Carbax permanently and quickly prevents discoloration, olfactory substances as well as toxic substances and guarantees crystal clear water.

4. Nitrax is a biological filter medium containing special microorganisms to break down toxic products of metabolism (ammonium / nitrite) that form in your aquarium. This limits the risk of death among your fish. Nitrax further reduces algae growth through the anaerobic breakdown of nitrate, thereby boosting the vitality of your fish.

5. The large-pore filter foam is used for mechanical filtration and provides bacteria with the opportunity to establish themselves in the aerobic zone.

Optional: 6. Cirax / Phorax / Amorax

Cirax is a biological filter medium offering beneficial bacteria optimal implantation conditions thanks to its large, highly porous surface.

Phorax is a highly effective filter medium for breaking down phosphates in your aquarium.
