Dark caribic sand is a dark sand composed of pure rock material with a high rate of calcium and magnesium.
Thanks to the dark sand, the colors of the corals and fish are more resplendent to the eye. Bright colors are more fluorescent and frightened gobies and wrasses feel more at home than on classic light white sand.
The dark beaches of northern Martinique are especially mysterious and fascinating. Thanks to the dark sand, the colors
corals and fish are more resplendent to the eye. Bright colors are more fluorescent and frightened gobies and wrasses feel more at home than on classic light white sand. We recommend a layer of 2-3 cm in the aquarium.
Dark Caribbean sand is composed of pure rock material with high levels of calcium and magnesium. After approximately 1 year, it is recommended to add an additional 10% dark Caribbean sand, corresponding to the dissolved volume. Invertebrates such as anemones, sabelliform worms, sand snails, starfish and wrasses love to burrow in this fine dark Caribbean sand.
Gobies and pistol shrimps can rummage through this sand and dig burrows.
Granulometry : 0.4 - 1.25mm
