Shrimp King Dadap Leaves from Dennerle are leaves from the Indian coral tree - called "Dadap" in its homeland, they are 100% natural and an optimal food supplement for all freshwater dwarf shrimps . The leaves are freshly picked, sorted by hand and carefully dried.
Also ideal as a health food for weekends or holidays - without water pollution
In the natural biotopes of shrimps and crayfish, dead leaves play an important role in the diet. Animals love to graze on decaying leaves on which biofilm grows. For a biologically balanced diet, vegetarian food should therefore be regularly on the menu for all shrimp and crayfish.
The leaves of the Indian coral tree are characterized by a high content of essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids and plant enzymes. In addition, they provide valuable fiber supporting digestion. Due to their high protein content (15-18%), they are often used as high quality feed for livestock in their country of origin.
Shrimps love Dadap leaves. As a natural dietary supplement, Dadap leaves are ideal for varying and supplementing the main diet. The dry leaves absorb water in the aquarium and sink to the bottom in 1-2 days. A biofilm of bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms forms on the surface, which ferments ("pre-digests") the leaf tissue. This natural formation is eagerly browsed by shrimp. It contains all the nutrients and basic elements they need on a daily basis. The fiber in the leaves acts as dietary fiber and promotes healthy digestion. Valuable secondary plant substances strengthen the body's own immune defenses and promote healthy development. Dadap leaves ensure healthy and balanced growth, more vitality and the joy of reproduction.
Dadap leaves have also proven themselves in the rearing and breeding of Caridina and Neocaridina species as a high nutritional quality supplementary feed. Since biological decomposition takes about 1-2 weeks, each animal has enough time to eat. There is no feeding stress, which is particularly advantageous for less assertive animals and young animals. In the end, only the skeleton of the watermark sheet remains.
Professional tip: Dadap Leaves are perfect as a health food for weekends or holidays - without unnecessarily polluting the water. Just add it to the aquarium before your vacation and you can go on vacation with peace of mind knowing your favorite shrimp are being optimally fed.
Dadap leaves are also ideal as a dietary supplement for dwarf crayfish (CPO), snails and growing plant-eating catfish (eg Ancistrus species).
