JBL - Pronovo Daph - 100ml - Dried daphnia for fish

JBL Pronovo Daph is an ideal food supplement for all freshwater fish from 3 to 10 cm.

In the past, almost all aquarists themselves caught water fleas in the wild to give them to their fish. Nowadays, this capture is often prohibited because of nature protection and many bodies of water are meanwhile so polluted that one should not fish for live prey there without asking questions. JBL uses trusted suppliers with legal access to absolutely clean waters with risk-free water flea populations. Directly after harvesting, the water fleas are freeze-dried in the sun for preservation and then packaged. They thus retain their valuable ingredients and fibers and are beneficial for the diet of ornamental fish.

Water flea (daphnia): 1 to 5 mm in size, they are biologically part of the branchiopod crustaceans and therefore of the plankton of stagnant fresh waters. They do not belong to the group of Gammaridae (gammare) which can reach a length of 2 cm and whose appearance is quite different. Gammarus live rather in running waters and are part of the Amphipoda. Cyclops, on the other hand, are much smaller (0.5 to 1 mm) and are part of the copepod aquatic crustaceans.

Dosage

Once or twice a day, as much as desired, as long as animals ingest within minutes.
