Why use the Holiday block? Aquariums really are the easiest pets to keep on their owners' weekends or vacations! Only a few species do not accept commercial food and only eat live food.
For a weekend or a longer holiday, the aquarist has the choice between: JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND (for 3 days) or JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY (for 2 weeks), or he uses an automatic feeder (JBL AUTOFOOD), which he fills with his favorite pellets.
Most aquarium fish, apart from fry, might even fast for a day or two, as is also the case in the wild. But many aquarium owners have a guilty conscience then, which is why there is the JBL PRONOVO BEL WEEKEND, which can also be used for a short absence.
The food blocks contained in JBL PRONOVO BEL HOLIDAY and WEEKEND consist of a natural calcium compound which slowly breaks down as the fish "nibble" them.
Even bottom-dwelling fish such as armored catfish or loaches quickly sense the food contained therein and also feed on it when needed. Be careful if you ask your neighbors to feed your fish! Most people think they are doing well and stuff them copiously! The bottom of the aquarium is then littered with large amounts of uneaten food which rots, causing serious problems with oxygen levels and the formation of toxic nitrites. A special holiday food or food vending machine will be a better solution (or aquarist neighbours).
How to use the Holiday block
Use: place the food block in the aquarium. It sinks to the bottom of the water and provides up to 3 days of food for about 15 ornamental fish (size up to 10 cm).
Features
