This protein-rich food softens layer by layer, from the outside in, so the fish only eat the outer layer, while the rest of the pellet remains stable and fresh. Thus, this food provides the fish with all the essential nutrients for a week.

Fish are forced to consume this slowly softening food, so it is practically not possible for them to eat too much of it. The water is not polluted.
