In aquarium keeping, maintaining a good biological balance is essential. This foam acts as a real refuge for nitrifying bacteria , which transform waste into less harmful substances. Its role is crucial to ensure stable water and preserve the health of your fish. In addition, its specially designed structure prevents larger particles from clogging the filter too quickly.

Easy to install and maintain

No need to be an expert to replace the PPI 30 blue foam ! Its installation is ultra simple: simply remove the old foam and insert the new one into the HyperMax 4500 filtration tank. To optimize filtration efficiency, it is recommended to change the foam every 4 to 6 weeks or as soon as it begins to deform. Regular cleaning every 1 to 2 weeks will extend its lifespan while preserving its performance.

A tip for faster filtration

For an even faster effect, soak the moss in aquarium water for 24 hours before installing it or add bacteria directly to the moss before placing it in the filter . This allows beneficial bacteria to begin colonizing the moss before it is added, ensuring faster biological stabilization .
