Features :

Aquarium plant food

Plants provide the aquarium with oxygen, which is of vital importance for its inhabitants, they prevent the appearance of algae and eliminate problematic substances. The JBL fertilizer kit supplies plants with CO2, their main nutrient, via water. Plants absorb it and, with the help of light, convert it into sugar and oxygen during photosynthesis.

Easy assembly

The system is completely ready for connection. Screw the regulator onto the CO2 bottle and connect it via the pipe with the bubble counter (with non-return), then with the reactor in the aquarium. The CO2 arrives in the aquarium and dissolves in the water using the reactor. The supply of CO2 can be interrupted at night by the solenoid valve fitted in between (night cut-off). The permanent CO2/pH test continuously displays the amount of CO2 dissolved in the water which can be readjusted.

Security

The bottle is TÜV approved. Thanks to the non-return valve, water cannot enter the bottle. The autonomy of a CO₂ system depends on several factors. The essential elements are carbonate hardness, the amount and type of plants and the force of surface water movement. A 500 g bottle which is not interrupted at night by a solenoid valve lasts approximately 4 months with the basic adjustment. Recyclable single-use CO2 cylinders can be redeemed individually or in a cheaper 3-pack.

Conversion from disposable cylinders to refillable cylinders and vice versa: all JBL CO2 cylinder systems are compatible with each other. In the rechargeable system (System M), it is sufficient to unscrew the nut of the regulator with an Allen key. The regulator is then adapted to the U system (single-use cylinders). If you have a single-use system, you can adapt the regulator to refillable cylinders (System M) by screwing on the um adapter.
