How to use the product

1. Mount the regulator on the CO2 cylinder and check that the regulator is securely closed
2. Fill the diffuser chamber with water
3. Place the cartridge in the device and mount the hose to the regulator and diffuser
4. Mount the diffuser using the suction cups inside the aquarium near the bottom so that the hose follows a corner at the back of the tank.
5. Slowly open the regulator and count the number of bubbles in the diffuser chamber.
6. Wait 2 minutes, adjust and repeat until the number of bubbles is approximately as shown in the table.
   
   

The table opposite shows the recommended dosage (bubbles per minute) in different aquarium sizes.
A 95g System Nano cylinder contains approximately 50,000 ml of CO2.

CO2 is the most important nutrient for aquarium plants.

The natural level of CO2 in an aquarium is 0-0.5 mg/L of water.
Even a limited supply of CO2 can make a huge difference to plant growth and health.

If the aquarium contains slow-growing plants of the Easy category, a supply increasing the CO2 level to approx. 3 mg/L will provide good growing conditions for the plants.

For Medium category plants the CO2 requirement is around 10 mg/L and for Advanced plants the requirement is around 25 mg/L.

*) If you have a large aquarium containing Medium or Advanced category plants, the nano cartridge will have too short a lifespan.
In these cases we recommend a 2 kg CO2 bottle for example.
