Potassium complex that promotes the red color of corals. Coral Colors B additive contains potassium and boron which are associated with many biological processes, one of which is the production of red pigments in the soft tissues of corals.

Coral Colors B additive is part of a range of major, minor and trace element complexes that together meet the needs of corals.

Potassium plays an essential role in transporting nutrients from corals into soft tissues (including nutrients provided by zooxanthellae). Potassium and boron significantly affect the KH in the soft tissues of corals and the formation of aragonite in its skeleton. Potassium is bound to red chromoproteins.

Use in conjunction with Red Sea NO3:PO4-X for even greater color intensity.

Dosage:

1ml will increase the potassium level by 1.75ppm per 100L.
