About Coral Grower

It contains calcium, strontium and trace elements (except iodine) necessary for the growth and multiplication of corals and beautiful pink and red encrusting coralline algae.
We explain the need for these elements below.
Calcium and strontium are the main cationic constituents of calcareous algae, the skeleton of hard corals and the needles of soft/leather corals.
Their growth and multiplication of these organisms means the depletion of these substances.

The trace elements included in Coral grower allow organisms to carry out many biological processes.
Manganese, for example, is essential for many biochemical reactions which makes photosynthesis possible.
Iron allows many organisms to absorb nutrients.
Cobalt is essential for the formation of pigments in many corals.
Zinc is, like manganese, essential for photosynthesis and is also used in the formation of calcium carbonate by corals.
These are just some of the trace elements present in Grower Coral and we could give you many more examples.

This supplement is very concentrated and contains for example approx. 80,000 ppm calcium and 1,600 ppm. of strontium.
In order to avoid an ionic imbalance, calcium and strontium are properly balanced with ions such as sulfate, chloride, bromide, sodium and magnesium.
All ingredients are pharmaceutical grade or even better. This ensures that no unwanted elements are added to your aquarium.

Some other requirements:
If calcium is decreased due to the growth of corals and coralline. In this case, Salifert pH + KH buffer is also needed for the formation of calcium and strontium carbonates.
To complete the range of trace elements Natural Iodine is highly recommended.

• Shake before use.
• Regular maintenance:
• Dosage of 5 ml per 100 liters (25 gallons) once a week.
