PRODIBIO - Promagnesium - 700 g - Increases magnesium in the marine aquarium

Magnesium consumption is dependent on aquarium population, lighting and the availability of all trace elements.

Magnesium is in quantity the 4th ion composing sea water after chlorides, sodium and sulphates. It is essential to the balance of your aquarium. Its rate is naturally around 1300 mg/L. It is used in synergy with calcium in the construction of coral skeletons and in the development of calcareous algae. In aquariums with low magnesium, calcium is consumed faster. It also has the ability to bind to phosphates present in the water and make them unavailable to algae.

Promagnesium is preferably used diluted in reverse osmosis or demineralised water. The addition of 10g of Promagnesium in 100 L of water corresponds to an increase in the magnesium concentration of 9.9mg/L

The use of Promagnesium should be reserved for aquarists comfortable with monitoring and understanding measurements of parameters in their aquarium.
