Product Details

Every plant requires a source of carbon. This is typically done with CO2, but can be done just as well by directly supplying organic compounds that are produced in cells during photosynthesis. These two paths are not contradictory and can complement each other. Flourish Excel™ can be used as the sole carbon source, but there will also be beneﬁts if you already have a CO2 injection. Indeed Flourish Excel™ has the property of reducing iron to the ferrous state (Fe+2) which is better assimilated than ferric iron (Fe+3).

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: The first time or after a major water change, pour one capful (5 mL) per 40 L of water. Then use one capful (5 mL) per 200 L as a maintenance dose (daily or less as needed). For lower doses the thread serves as a guide, each thread representing approximately 1 mL.
