The ROYAL NATURE PH+KH Professional test will allow you to accurately determine the pH and Kh content of the water in your saltwater aquarium. The PH+KH test is designed to be easy to use and read . One box can perform approximately 150 analyses .
Carbonate Hardness (DKH) and pH are related to each other. There are many life forms in saltwater aquariums that absorb carbonates. Calcareous algae is one of them. In constant consumption, carbonates are responsible for the depletion of the system that buffers alkalinity. This causes at the same time, a stronger acidity due to the drop in pH. This strict relationship between pH and DKH must be checked on a regular basis.
By adding Royal Nature Sodium Bicarbonate Salt you will be sure to keep your carbonate concentration in the range of 8 to 10 DKH and at the same time to keep the pH at the desired level of 8.2 to 8.4.
The pH in a saltwater aquarium should increase very slowly, at the rate of 0.1 point per 24 hours.
For this reason, Royal Nature has developed this powerful tool, the Royal Nature Pro PH+KH Test Kit , allowing you to measure DKH and pH in one go. If you measure the DKH regularly day after day as we recommend, at the same time and without extra effort, you will also have the pH value with just an extra glance in a table. This test will give you the assurance of sharp knowledge about your aquarium and that the strong relationship between DKH and pH is preserved as well as the good growth of your corals on an ongoing basis.
