Healthy aquarium and living conditions close to nature The right water parameters in the aquarium depend on its fish population and its plants. Even clear water can be polluted. If the parameters are wrong, diseases or algae may appear in the aquarium. For an aquarium to be healthy and have natural living conditions, the water parameters must be checked and adjusted regularly. With JBL water tests you can quickly, easily and accurately determine all important water parameters.

The following tests are available:

  • pH test: water acidity from 3.0 to 10
  • CO2 test: determination of carbon dioxide for good plant growth
  • KH test: water pH stability (carbonate hardness)
  • NH4 / NH3 test: display of non-toxic ammonium, calculation of toxic ammonia on table
  • NO2 test: determination of nitrites, toxic nitrogen compounds for fish
  • NO3 test: determination of nitrates (cause of algae and plant nutrient)
