How to use Proaquatest calcium?

Ease of use: Put the water to be tested in a test tube, add the reagents and count the drops until the color changes. Number of droplets x 20 = Ca content. Treated dose: The number of actions depends on the level of calcium content. On the JBL/Themes Aquarium website you will find detailed information on water analyzes and solutions to problems.

Understand :

1 Ca Test kit, 3 reagents, plastic test tube, syringe, scoop. Reagent refills available separately.

For a healthy aquarium:

The exact water parameters in the aquarium/pond depend on the amount of fish and plants present. Even if the water looks clear, it may be contaminated. If the parameters are wrong, illness or disease may develop in the aquarium or pond.

To have a healthy pond or aquarium with conditions close to the natural environment, it is important to regularly adjust the water parameters… For each water analysis, JBL provides quick color test tests. These tests calculate an exact parameter or several parameters at the same time. They allow the identification of algae problems and the parameters of nitrate, nitrite, potassium, magnesium, etc.

Why test?

Calcium allows the development of the skeleton of corals. Too low level of calcium in the marine aquarium, coral growth and other vital functions.

Recommended Calcium Parameters

In freshwater aquarium (community aquarium): calcium is one of the elements of total hardness and much less present quantitatively than in seawater. The test therefore does not display any in freshwater.

  • In seawater aquarium: 390 to 440 mg/l.
