By adding the "EcoTech Marine battery backup", your aquarium's circulation will remain unchanged for up to 60 hours after the power failure (30 hours for two pumps). You can add a second backup battery to double the runtime.

By adding this battery, your aquarium is protected from power cuts for 36 hours with the MP40w and more than 72 hours with the MP10 and MP10w. Simply plug the battery into an outlet, connect it to your controller, and your aquarium will be protected.
