Nutrient ratios for reef aquarium invertebrates, ie corals, sponges and the like, are ideal when nitrate and phosphate levels are present at the lowest possible concentrations. At the same time there should be no imbalance between nitrates and phosphates. With its balanced blend of carefully selected organic and inorganic nutrients, NP-BACTO-BALANCE promotes the further increase and additional incorporation of nitrates and phosphates into the biomass. The rate of nitrates and phosphates thus decreases in the water and the brilliance of the colors as well as the growth of corals, sponges and other filter feeders are improved. A deficiency of nitrates and phosphates is simultaneously avoided and the balance between nitrates and phosphates is positively influenced.
Nitrates and phosphates are stabilized at their lowest level.

The dosage depends on the age of the aquarium:
In new and young pools (0-1 years*), it is advisable not to add more than 0.25 ml per 100 l of content per day. In middle-aged ponds (1-2 years*) it is possible to add up to 0.5 ml/100 l daily and in mature and older ponds (>2 years*) the dosage may reach between 0.5 and 1 ml per 100 l of aquarium water. In this context, however, it is important to avoid any dosage higher than 1 ml per 100 l of content per day.
Start daily with a dosage of 0.25 ml per 100 liters of tank volume. Every two weeks the dosage can be increased daily by 0.25 ml per 100 liters of tank water when the effect of NP-BACTO-BALANCE needs to be reinforced. Pour NP-BACTO-BALANCE in a place in the aquarium where there is a strong current. Adding early in the light cycle is beneficial.
Attention: A daily dosage of 1 ml per 100 liters of tank volume must not be exceeded. If a disorder were to appear after increasing the dosage of NP-BACTO-BALANCE, the dosage should be reduced to its previous level.

NP-BACTO-BALANCE contains the same trace elements as Tropic Marin ® K + ELEMENTS . This should be taken into account when dosing trace elements in the tank (1 ml corresponds to 1 ml). Up to a maximum daily dosage of 0.75 ml NP-BACTO-BALANCE per 100 l, the additional addition of 1 ml/100 l of K + ELEMENTS can have a positive effect on coral coloration. We additionally recommend Tropic Marin ® A - ELEMENTS for one of the trace elements to add missing trace elements such as iodine, bromine, fluorine, vanadium, molybdenum and selenium.
