Dennerle Aquarium Starter Rapid is a highly effective product for quickly and safely starting the setup of new aquariums. It contains two components:
1. Live filter bacteria – they implant themselves in the filter material and gravel and immediately begin to degrade harmful substances. The solution is highly concentrated in bacteria, with 500 million bacteria guaranteed per milliliter (when filling).
2. A bacteria-boosting nutrient solution – bacteria food specially developed for rapid growth and reproduction.
Mode of action:
- Efficient nitrifying bacteria (Nitrosomonas, Nitrobacter) transform dangerous ammonia into nitrites and then nitrates, which decontaminates the water.
- Denitrifying bacteria (Paracoccus) convert nitrates into nitrogen gas in the anaerobic sectors of the aquarium – mainly in the bottom substrate and in the filter – to reduce the nitrate content.
- Filter bacteria simultaneously degrade plant and food remains, fish waste, organic impurities, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, harmful organic substances and sludge of organic origin.

USE / DOSAGE
Filterstarter filtration bacteria
Dosage: 100 ml for 50-100 litres of aquarium water. Pour half of the starter bacteria onto the filter material and the other half into the aquarium water (25 °C).
Booster nutrient solution based on bacteria
1st day: 50 ml per 100 l of aquarium water (25 ml / 50 l) - 2nd to 6th day: 10 ml per 100 l of aquarium water (5 ml / 50 l)
