Care Bacter

Care Bacter is a mixture of several strains of bacteria specially selected with the aim of giving you a cleaner and biologically more balanced marine or freshwater aquarium.
Care Bacter is an ideal complement to technical equipment such as filters or high-performance skimmers. In marine aquariums in particular and helped by a good mixing of the biotope, its effectiveness will be revealed in a very short time, exactly as for older aquariums and experiencing a deficit of their bacterial flora and/or an accumulation of organic matter. For every situation, Care Bacter improves biological processes, reduces algae growth and sediment build-up.
Care Bacter is made up of a consortium of non-pathogenic and non-GMO bacterial strains (EC directive 200054) working in synergy in a particularly effective way for water treatment. The first consortium is selected for its ability to degrade the various constituents of dead organic matter, thus this consortium purifies the water and prevents the accumulation of undesirable elements (proteins? ammonium/ammonia? nitrites? nitrates) then directly consumes the nitrates in a saprophagous way. Phosphates are also degraded by absorption of phosphorus, leading to particularly effective water purification. This depletion of nitrates and phosphates leads to a strong reduction in the development of algae.
The second consortium of bacteria makes it possible to fight against pathogenic bacteria of the "Vibrio" type, which are harmful to our aquatic biotopes. Care Bacter protects fish, shellfish, corals, etc. of these pathogenic bacteria and facilitates acclimatization in aquariums. Regarding LPS and SPS type hard corals, Care Bacter effectively reduces the risk of rapid necrosis of RTN tissues Finally, Care Bacter increases the thickness of the biofilm in the aquarium and nourishes certain species of corals or benthic animals. One of the spectacular effects of Care Bacter in the aquarium: the panes stay clean longer!
Care Bacter can also be used in garden ponds and becomes effective from a temperature of more than 15°C.

Stock :

1. The various green and filamentous algae are greatly reduced, the aquarium panes get less dirty. The introduction of bacteria constitutes strong competition with the algae mentioned.

2. Nitrates and phosphates decrease.
The bacteria use the nitrate and phosphate bonds as a food source and are then taken up by corals at the end of their life or removed by skimming and filtration.

3. Corals and fish develop more vitality.
Bacteria and their supports promote the immune system, limit the risk of disease and prevent vibriosis.

4. The aquarium is noticeably cleaner and organic deposits (mulm) are reduced. Bacteria use this organic sludge as an energy source.

Care Bacter bacteria are classified as non-pathogenic for humans and the environment.
They do not contain toxic substances.
There is no possible overdose!
The product is not suitable for consumption!
Avoid contact with the eyes !
Keep out of reach of children!

Use :

During a first use, we recommend a sowing treatment which will quickly lead to a positive result (measuring spoon included in the box).

For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 10 ml per week (corresponding to 4 spoonfuls) over a period of 2 weeks.

For aquariums from 100 to 500 liters: 5 ml per week (corresponding to 2 spoonfuls) over a period of two weeks.

For aquariums of 30 to 100 liters: 2.5 ml per week (corresponding to 1 scoop) over a period of two weeks.

During dosing, we recommend stopping mechanical rapid filtration or seawater skimming for approx. 10 minutes and dispense the dose directly into the aquatic biotope.

Normal dosage after a first sowing:

For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 2.5ml per week (corresponding to 1 spoon).

For aquariums from 30 to 500 litres: 1.25ml per week (corresponding to 1/2 scoop).

During dosing, we recommend stopping mechanical rapid filtration or seawater skimming for approx. 10 minutes and dispense the dose directly into the aquatic biotope.
