Product Details

Silicates (silicic acid, SiO₂) are responsible for the proliferation of unsightly silica algae in aquariums. Often tap water contains large amounts of silicates which lead to silica algae problems. This filter material permanently binds the silicate and thus prevents the formation of diatoms.

1 packet (500 g) binds 5000 mg/l SiO₂ and is sufficient for 200-400 liters.

Suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
