Very effective granules for the removal of phosphates in aquariums.
Due to the negative effects they develop when they occur in higher concentrations, phosphates and humic substances are not welcome in the aquarium. Sustained successful maintenance can only be ensured if the concentrations of these two groups of substances are kept at low levels. In coral reef aquariums, for example, the phosphate content must be at most 0.05 mg/l to ensure good growth and beautiful colors of hard corals.
ELIMI-PHOS is a very effective granulate in practical sachets for eliminating phosphates, yellow substances and toxic waste of organic origin in the aquarium. The phosphates are so strongly attached to the granulate that a new release is no longer possible. ELIMI-PHOS can be used for the elimination of phosphates as well as for the maintenance of water in general by introducing it like activated carbon. After only a short time, the growing conditions for the invertebrates improve markedly and the growth of unwanted algae is prevented.

How to use :
Use approximately 100 g ELIMI-PHOS per 200 l of aquarium water. Introduce the adsorbent into the filter or hang the bag in a place where the current is strong. In aquariums heavily polluted with yellow substances, start with 100 g ELIMI-PHOS per 500 liters to allow invertebrates and plants to get used to the new conditions.
ELIMI-PHOS can remain in the aquarium without detriment, until their absorption capacity is exhausted. If the phosphate content increases again after the granulate has been used up, it should be replaced with a new ELIMI-PHOS. To check the phosphate content, we recommend the Professional Phosphate Test from Tropic Marin ® whose sensitivity is already 0.01 mg/l of phosphates.
To avoid water pollution right from the start, we recommend a regular water change and the use of Tropic Marin ® ELIMI-PHOS as a preventive measure.
