Product Details

Sulfur Pearls consist of sulfur balls are made of pure sulfur. They are used as a substrate and energy source for the bacteria in the sulfur denitrator filter. They are broken down by bacteria and need to be replenished regularly.

Caution: For use only in slow flow nitrate-reducing anaerobic filters. The pH value and the carbonate hardness of the water should be checked regularly.
