MICROBE-LIFT / Nite-Out II includes certain autotrophic microorganisms - capable of using carbon dioxide as the sole carbon source - and which are relatively slow growing and which require specific conditions for optimal growth, with speeds typical cell division times of 8 to 16 hours. Their performance and growth rate are influenced by the environmental parameters required for nitrification.
Instructions:
For optimal nitrification and ammonia removal, start by treating your aquarium with MICROBE-LIFT / Special Blend, with cultures selected to reduce levels of organics that can inhibit the natural nitrification process. Since nitrification requires adequate levels of alkalinity, check the pH of the aquarium water.
Note: Salt water slows bacterial action. For faster results, add 25% to 50% more product.
Dosage:
- Check the ammonia level in the aquarium.
- New aquariums - add 5 ml per 38 l every other day, until the ammonia level reaches less than 0.6 mg/l.
- Stabilized aquariums - add 5ml per 38L of tank water after each partial water change as well as each time new fish are added to the tank.
NOTE: Shelf life is 18 months. DO NOT FREEZE. Store at room temperature. Avoid sunlight Refrigerate after opening to prolong the shelf life of the products. Refrigerate between 4°C and 38°F. Shake well before using.
