PO4 Smart Test Kit from Reef Factory is a test kit for the analysis of phosphates in seawater. The kit allows you to perform around 60 tests ranging from 0.04 to 3 mg/l.
With the Smart Reef app, colorimetric analysis takes on new meaning. Interpretation of results is clear, and easy-to-interpret recommendations are given by the app, on how to keep parameters in the most optimal range. Your results are stored in your account and the measurement history allows you to easily share your settings with other amateurs.
1. Take 10ml of water from the aquarium with a syringe and pour into the bottle
2. Add 5 drops from the NO3 reagent dropper 1 to the bottle. Carefully swirl the bottle in a circular motion.
3. Shake the NO3 reagent 2, then add 2 drops to the bottle. Close the bottle with the cap attached and shake.
4. wait 2 minutes for the reaction to take place. After this time, the reagent sample should turn blue.
5. Remove the cap and place the vial on the starting field of the standard.
6. Looking from above, compare the color intensity with the color on the model, read the result and/or enter the Smart Reef user panel.
What to do next.
Based on the test results, the Smart Reef System will make supplementation recommendations to you to maintain the best living conditions for your corals. You can enter these recommendations yourself, or if you have our dosing pumps, you can send them directly to the dosing pumps, which in turn will dispense precisely the right amounts of supplements to deliver the essentials your pets need.
