At night, it is useful to have an air pump with an air diffuser for the aquarium, because the plants do not produce oxygen without light, but consume it themselves. In sparsely planted aquariums, the air pump provides the necessary water circulation using the diffuser. In heavily planted aquariums, the air pump supplies the aquarium with oxygen at night, since the oxygen content can drop to a problematic level due to the many plants. In case of illnesses, the air pump increases the oxygen content in the water, which is indispensable for various medicines.

Connect the diffuser with a hose to an air pump (not supplied), position the air diffuser in the aquarium.
