Anemones of the genus aiptasia are among the most widespread pests in the marine aquarium industry. Often imported into the aquarium unintentionally with live rocks or corals, these anemones grow very quickly and harm corals by their capacity for vegetative multiplication. . ELIMI-AIPTAS from Tropic Marin ® allows you to fight quickly and effectively against aiptasia and other undesirable cnidarians in reef aquariums.

ELIMI-AIPTAS from Tropic Marin ® can be injected on site using the syringe provided into the aiptasia to be eliminated without altering the chemistry of the water in the reef aquarium. Once treated with ELIMI-AIPTAS , aiptasia disintegrate rapidly.

ELIMI-AIPTAS from Tropic Marin ® should be used as soon as possible after the appearance of the first aiptasia in order to avoid their rapid multiplication.

Application & dosage

Draw ELIMI-AIPTAS into the syringe provided, place the injection needle on the cone of the syringe and inject a few tenths of a milliliter inside the cnidarian. During this operation, it is important to touch the cnidarian directly and to inject the preparation as soon as possible, before it contracts. In doing so, a cloudy, white, flaky mass emerges from the cnidarian to envelop it. This mass should not be removed, as it increases the effectiveness of the pest control measure.

Aiptasia disintegrate after being treated with ELIMI-AIPTAS . Rinse the syringe after treatment with clean water before withdrawing the needle with caution.

Attention: In order to avoid injuries, care should be taken when handling the ELIMI-AIPTAS and the injection syringe!
