Proclean Aqua In-Out from JBL is a tap suction pump for convenient water change in the aquarium . The pump screwed onto the water tap generates a vacuum through the flowing water from the tap so that it is possible to suck the aquarium water through a hose. After flipping a lever, the aquarium can be filled again.

Features :

  • Screw the suction pump onto the water tap, connect the hose, open the tap and choose the position of the lever to suck up the water or fill the aquarium.
  • The suction pump is normally part of the JBL PROCLEAN AQUA IN-OUT water change set, but can also be purchased here separately.
  • The suction pump has a 3/4'' thread connection. It must be fixed on the tap thread (usually M28; M22; M24) by means of an adapter (not supplied).
  • Included in delivery: 1 complete suction pump (3/4'' connection), with shut-off valve, seal, movable hose connection (12/16) with clamping nut.

Easy installation

Connect the suction pump to the water tap. Connect the long hose to the pump and the other end to the bell jar. Hang the vase bell in the aquarium. Place the pump shut-off valve in the water passage position. Fully open the water tap. Through water draws water from the aquarium. During the suction process, clean the bottom of the aquarium with the bell jar. To refill the aquarium, close the pump shut-off valve and let fresh water flow into the aquarium.

The suction pump is normally part of the JBL PROCLEAN AQUA IN-OUT water change set, but can also be purchased here separately. It must then be fixed using a thread adapter (not supplied) on the thread of the water tap. You will then need a pipe (12/16) leading from the suction pump to the aquarium and a vase bell (bottom vacuum) fitted at its end.

Regular water change

Food or plant residues and metabolic products pollute the aquarium water. Since aquarium filters cannot completely remove these substances from the water and a large part of the impurities settles at the bottom of the aquarium, it is necessary to regularly make a partial water change (1/3 water approximately every 15 days). The partial water change should always be combined with suction of impurities from the bottom substrate. After a partial water change, it is essential to use a good water conditioner, such as JBL Biotopol, to adapt the new tap water to the fish.
